Maybe because she’s waking to the reality that if Pone Hitler wins, he’s not going to live up to his promises of a free Ukraine, but make her a slave. And she’s already burned her bridges with Pone Stalin, who has no use for turncoats and will execute her for treason.  
Hell is not in Norway, it is somewhere between Berlin and Moscow.
