I wonder if that Changeling with the helmet was Pharynx? Obviously not, because he didn’t exist when this was made, but still, he was very loyal to old Cheeselegs…

This is why I love Chrysalis and the Changelings. They are imperialists who ruthlessly and remorselessly gobble up un-expecting lands into their ever expanding Evil Empire.

Uhhh…

No, he’s pretty dead.

He wasn’t turned to stone, wasn’t cast back into the pits or sent to Tartarus.

He exploded.

It’s hard to come back from being exploded.

Unless it’s to explode again…

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

What’s really dark is when Fluttershy has an emotional breakdown in "Hurricane Fluttershy", and in "Magical Mystery Cure", things seem pretty horrible when everyone is forced to act out the wrong cutie-mark. But this, this is cute.

They cats didn’t die, why must people always read what isn’t made clear. In the show Sombra didn’t die, really this is no more grimdark than his defeat.

Sorry, I’m not sure if this image should have been tagged grimdark. Semi-grimdark perhaps, but this is IDW and they’re probably a good benchmark for what constitutes child-safe.

Okay, I can’t understand why people are scared of this, either.

THIS is what the Changelings do! THIS is the reason why I like the Changelings! They are a ravenous horde of insects that will not stop for anything that comes across their path!

Compare them to locusts, only that they are FAAAAARRR more evil and ravenous than them!
