and the writers themselves admitted that they are multishippers and have no canon shipp, they like and make a lot of shipps, they make more rarijack moments because it is the most popular

I wonder if EG Applejack and EG Pinkie Pie are also distant cousins, like their pony counterparts.

Actually no, rarijack is not canon or “bordeline canon”
 
has several cute and romantic moments between pinkie and applejack, plus the fact that in my little pony:FIM they are best friends and intimate
 
in the episode heatherbreakers has even a pinkie scene touching AJ nose with the applejack and she getting embarrassed

I think these two have a “friendship”.

All of the mane 6 can have great chemistry, people buzz about Applejack and Rarity because of the way they directly behave around one-another. The recent Pinkie/AJ and Pinkie/Sunset duos are super cute and fun, but they’re not all blushy and intimate with one-another the way Applejack and Rarity have been in recent specials (and indeed, since the first movie in some more subtle ways). People are excited about Rarijack because it’s borderline canon, basically.

These two really would get along very well, I think.
