Still kinda confusing to me.
Those things aren’t remarkable to them because they’ve always had them in their universe. My guess is that it’s been a while since their last adventure: just because they have a magical world doesn’t necessarily mean it always has exciting things going on (even in the show, how many episodes are lower-key slice of life?).

And honestly, I could see Pinkie being into something like LARPing. Her imagination runs overtime even in normal situations. This would probably be right up her alley.
