For the record, the Sparity ship is the most unlikely one in the entire fandom. For one thing, it’s completely one-sided with Rarity more or less taking advantage of Spike’s crush on her to get him to do her favors. Second, when you consider the most plausible ages of the ponies when Spike and Rarity first meet, there’s at least a 10-year age gap and Spike has only RECENTLY reached what would be considered even close to adulthood by dragon standards, if we liken Dragon Greed to the onset of puberty, and the Molt as the peak of it much like Cutie Marks are compared to puberty for ponies. And third, dragons are reptiles and ponies are mammals. Spike and Rarity would NEVER be genetically compatible. I’m sorry to say, but this ship would NEVER work…
