Description

It’s important to finish your education, especially for Earth Ponies. While Unicorns can be a bit obsessive and Pegasi tend to have a short attention span, Earth Ponies have difficulty with social interaction. School for Earth Ponies focuses extensively on developing social skills.

That depends on how resourceful you are. You can drop out and make it big, and if not big, you can get by comfortably. Thousands of people in the real world who don’t have a formal education went on to become entrepreneurs, investors and other lucrative professions and became millionaires, if not billionaire, or they found a niche that worked well for them, where they don’t have much competition or can innovate faster than them. And some of these people who became successful were either poor or homeless. Now, are there some dropouts who failed? Yes. But that doesn’t discredit those who succeeded.
School doesn’t teach you how to adapt to the real world. The real world is ever-changing, what’s useful to learn now may not be useful five years from now or even just one year. The people and environments and times school recommends may not be useful to those with certain talents. It’s up to them to learn what’s best for themselves, and to say otherwise would be to presume that school know’s what’s best for one far more than one does.
And this is coming from a high school dropout, who found school miserable, isolating, and strenuous. It was only after I dropped out that I began to find myself and hone my talents. I may not be a millionaire, but I make enough to live comfortably.

Couldn’t agree more with this person’s thinking. ^^
