Good point; maybe the cables are just a distraction, and the real bomb is the fuse bomb. Or perhaps Bon-Bon already knew that, and regrets not having brought a longer clamp to get to the fuse.

A criticism that isn’t related to the art itself: Why does the bomb have a fuse and wires?
Also, defusing a fuse bomb is easy. Cut the fuse. That’s actually where the term defusing comes from.
