Okay, I’m starting to have fun now that I’m allowing myself to not be perfect. I can forge a disconnect between the glaring flaws in this picture and the things that I like about it, and take satisfaction in the latter.
 
How adorable is the relationship between these two? We didn’t know jack about Scootaloo’s family situation in the early seasons of the show. The other CMC’s had sisters that were in Twilight’s inner circle of Friendship Masters, but Scootaloo had more of a spiritual connection to her Mane 6 counterpart. Rainbow Dash was everything she wanted to be when she grew up. The role model for a scrappy young pegasus with a daring streak. I love how Scoots eventually got sempai to notice her and even take on kind of an adoptive older sister role.
