Hmm.  
Well, Hasbro has been talking about making the theatrical films the focus on what they want made. Stuff like EQG, any MLP series, Cyberverse, is just meant to fill the years between movies. Sounds like MLP is going the way of Transformers, too, with generations going away.  
That means A, EQG will probably continue on for quite a while, since it is already what Hasbro wants, filler.  
B, the only changes we see to EQG will probably be based on having a new animation studio rather than a total reboot.

Hopefully 2019 isn’t the end for equestria girls like mlp friendship is magic and instead 2020 will be the end of equestria girls instead anyone agree

Yeah. The G5 parts of the leaks are two years old, and nothing more came from them after the initial post. Just relax.  
Besides, Sunny is probably living on, since Boulder let slip about EQG.

In fact, G5 only exists in a contested leak.

I wasn’t aware you had much sanity to spare. We’ve seen heaps of continuity between the films and television show. What more of a connection are you asking for? Sunset to make an appearance in an episode?

I’m sure a version of sunset will show up next gen, or at least an almagmation of her and starlight since they both serve the same function anyway.
 
I hope Trixie Shows up unchanged. She’s already perfect.

With the exception of a few comic arcs, It’s all canon. Always was.
 
The best solution to a problem is the easiest one. Separating the series into Canon and Not Canon piles is harder than just accepting that it’s all canon. Why waste brain cells? For that matter, why waste other people’s brain cells?

I agree that people take way too much out of it. The characters could have been replaced by literally any generic monster and the scene would’ve payed the same. At best it’s a cameo but to take it in stride to mean anything related to EG is canon is lunacy. If they really wanted to drive the point home they could have done so much more than presenting the sirens as these nameless generic monsters but chose not to. Compare this to how they handled the movie within the show, in which we had characters actually talk about the events of said movie and we even saw Capper in the show.

I’m pretty sure equestria girls will continue into 2020 so I bet we don’t need to worry its not 100% confirmed yet but once comic con hits in the next few weeks we’ll get some new if it’ll continue or not into 2020

This whole nonsense started because you made the claim that the flashback from Shadow Play definitely, 100%, beyond a shadow of a doubt, conclusively proves that Sunset is canon.
 
Problem is, even if the sirens were most certainly portaled to the EqG world, that wouldn’t automagically mean everything else about EqG and every character from EqG is canon in FIM.
 
You’ve made an inference – reasonable as it may be – and presented it as not only a hard fact, but a hard fact that absolutely proves events and characters from a parallel series as hard facts for the main series.
 
And then you leaped straight into calling anyone who wants something a little more concrete than cameos by characters who have counterparts in a parallel world in a parallel series a straight-up conspiratard.

Of course. You do know they directly referenced characters and events from Rainbow Rocks in the Season 7 final, right? Not to mention they referenced the first Equestria Girls in with Flash Sentry’s appearances in post Season 3 episodes.
 
To deny there’s any connection between the two is like denying the Holocaust.

It’s an apples to oranges comparison, and blatantly so.
 
Canon = part of the show, or acknowledged in the show (e.g. the MLP movie).  
Episodes of the show are, obviously, canon by default, which is why “no one would claim these episodes are not canon.”  
EqG, being a side thing, considerably less so.
 
Now, it’s not unreasonable to consider EqG canon unless contradicted by FIM, but it must be noted that reasonable isn’t a synonym for hard fact.
