For Equestria Dailys Newbie Artist Training Grounds IX, Day 1: “A Pony Standing / A Pony Holding the Line”
Ah, it’s good to be back. Even though I have not as much time as I had years ago, the NATG again is the perfect opportunity to start drawing ponies again. I just have to speed up the postprocessing a little bit. It took me almost as long as the drawing…
This is drawn with my good old Faber Castell “Albrecht Dürer” watercolor pencils (wetted with a brush) and their “PITT artist pen” india ink pens. Still my go-to drawing supplies.
Edit: There seems to be a problem with the color profile, thus the picture looks so dull. I’ll fix it tomorrow. It’s almost 3 AM here.
