Why the hay not?
@Ponysa
Thank you. I have absolutely no idea about the technical issues involved, so I didn’t know what to think. It sounds like they did indeed copy and paste background stuff.
I have seen leaked storyboards for other things (like the Trixie street magic one) and they didn’t seem that detailed. My bet would be on the animators doing it.

Did a test with the previous short, and it is the same animation mirrored/reversed (Nice catch) XD

On the Who Done It, I would say probably most of the production team since they’ve made it no secret they ship the Rarijack ^^;;

Let’s talk about the real issue here, which is that Rarijack’s motion here is identical to a bit of animation in one of the shorts. But presumably they draw it all over again rather than re-using shots, because it’s real animation, not CG?

Since it is done with Flash8, they could have just copy/paste the same animation over and flipped it. That said, I can’t help but wonder if the storyboard artist(s) drew them in like this, or if it was just the animator(s) who went with this ^^;

Seems kinda pointless to get upset at people for shipping characters or calling their interactions as shipping fuel.

It happens in every fandom about every piece of fiction. You might as well complain that the tide went out or that the sun came up.

You’re right. I don’t even like the disgusting word the redditors made up, but in my experience it fits with the sheer divorce of reality you see in some people, and this includes some of the writers. It is not shipping fuel if you have actually seen women outside of Chinese cartoons. No, XXX-rated movies don’t count, either.

Females holding hands and shipping fuel?
Are you for real, incels?
Well, to be fair, the fact that the show staff (or some members thereof, at least) ship the two makes the idea that this was done with something relationship-ish in mind at least arguable. But even with that it of knowledge, having seen girls who are good friends in real life have a “oh, you must see this” moment and drag the other off by hand… yeah, I really don’t see this as anything beyond ordinary friendship.

Also, there’s really no call for the “incel” thing. You get far more out of a polite disagreement than jumping right to the name calling.
