I showed off Fairy Floss a little while ago, but boi, this was destiny. Browsing a resale journal, I found this guy- a reaaaalll gem. The very first thing I thought was how he sort of reminded me of Fairy Floss, and just… oof. I had to get him. So Fairy Floss has a baby brother now! Meet Pop Rock! (again, need to refine their cutie marks)
 
As kids, Fairy Floss and Pop Rock always used to go to the carnival together. It was a small local one at the time that didn’t often travel, so they were there a LOT. Fairy Floss always made friends with all the workers there, and was known on a first-name basis. Her brother was a little more shy, and usually only went because she was there. Most of the time she was “supposed” to be watching her younger brother, but would get distracted and leave him at the kid’s gem mining booth. Though their parents weren’t happy when they found out, Pop Rock had grown to LOVE the mining activity. Eventually, he even earned his cutie mark in mining! He’s great at his job, and works a day job in a salt mine. However, in his spare time, he ventures into jewel mines and gathers enough gems to bring to the carnival and run the mining booth on the weekends.
