@Dirty Bit
Ah. k. I see :3
@Meanlucario
Also this Japanese proverb: “The cornered rat will bite the cat.”
S1E7 “Dragonshy” showed that in spades. Poor Flutters was terrified to even see the dragon, to the point that she went out of her way to try to go back home; yet once she saw that her friends were in danger, she fucking stared the dragon down and gave him an earful.
Then the shy one’s bravery was showcased again in S1E17 “Stare Master”, wherein she used The Stare to make a cockatrice un-petrify ponies… while said cockatrice was in the process of petrifying her.
They’re the most fearful, so it takes them more courage than any other to overcome their fears.
How so?
Hence why cowards can be the most courageous people.
Bravery isn’t not being afraid; bravery is being afraid, but facing what you’re afraid of anyway.

‘a man of the people’ can be a genderless phrase
I’m aware of that first fact, but it’s just that for some reason, the way she put it sounded a bit unnatural. But anyways
“Man” for most of human history has referred to humans and humanity without denoting a particular gender, while “wer” and “wif” referred to males and females, respectively (which is where words like “werewolf” and “wife” come from).
Supposedly
Aren’t you female?
