If it’s cold out, I guess a horse warmer should cover up and keep the important bits warm.  
and for what it’s worth Twi-centaurs skirt in TJPones pic above does look like a pretty good skirt, I also like how it works with her knee socks to make it look like she’s wearing a regular school uniform.

I like how people have been flipping out over the skirt more than the actual subject matter.
 
But seriously, I did give the original design a human skirt but found it to be so pointless because it does jack shit covering anything important up, and I’m not one for bottomless clothes either, so I went for a drape design in the redraw instead.
 
Also, it’s based n large part on how horse warmers are designed, so…

You dense, dense horse. Don’t you realize that’s the horse’s thorax? What kind of backyard planet do we live in where our skirts cover our ribs?
 
This way also leave the bumbum mostly exposed, the whole porpuse of a skirt is to hide the buns. But you went and did it, she have to walk with her bumcrack exposed for all to see, because her skirt is too busy HIDING THE THORAX
