Sorry for all the drama about who my Limestone pairing was XD Here she is, Sprout Greenhoof, (who I personally like to headcanon to be called Stephanie Sprout Greenhoof).
 
You’re probably wondering, “why, of all ponies, would I pair Limestone with her”
 
Cuz she’s cute, I don’t need any other explanations.
 
I just happened to spot Sprout on the background of a screenshot (I think it’s from the episode Viva Las Pegasus) and I frigging fell in love. sHE IS PeRFeCTION
 
And I just happened to pair her up with Limestone because I was thinking about it at the moment, I might retcon this sometime in the future but who knows? Lemme enjoy it now~
 
Btw, Sprout seems to be portayed as a lively, cheerful and perhaps goofy mare by the way I saw her act, I actually made up her personality to fit my story better
 
Now let’s get back to their backstory~
 
After everything that’s happened in the Pie family; Pinkie moving out with Cheese (who her father kinda didn’t appreciate much since he didn’t quite have the “pie family profile”, but pinkie doesn’t have either so whatever), Maud moving out and having multiple children with different fathers (and never even marrying one of them), Marble marrying a mare (which her father completely disapproved), Limestone felt a bit… Frustrated to stay in the farm. Due to her parent’s, specifically her father’s, super strict beliefs and traditions, Limestone had always believed it was her duty to take care of the farm. To follow “the rules”, and wait there to be eventually chosen to marry some stallion by the “pairing stone”. Taking care of the farm was her destiny, she was meant to do that. “Cuz it’s what her cutie mark was telling her”, she thought.
 
But as she saw all of her sisters living their lives all freely, weirdly, and happily, she felt like she could somehow be missing something in life. She had that feeling sometimes but always went back to her conservative thoughts. Haven’t worked much on how they meet yet.
 
One day, the rock farm happens to be having problem with weird, unknown, big and strong weeds growing everywhere. They wouldn’t stop growing even if you cut them or pulled them away, so some other pony from a nearby farm recommended Sprout’s help. Limestone was rather incredulous and confused when a pretty “prissy” and soft looking mare showed up. She? Of all ponies, could handle those monstrous weeds growing everywhere that not even Limestone could get rid of?”  
Eventually, Sprout probably handles it in a really tough or intelligent way (either by doing some chemical stuff that would kill the beast-like weeds or knowing a certain and specific way to pull them out, she doesn’t look like it but Sprout is really strong and athletic). Sprout seemed like a simple little cute silly florist/gardener at first, but Limestone came to know that she’s actually pretty intelligent, handy and strong. She’s a very interesting mare; idependant, adventurous, confident, free-willed and rather sassy. Sure, gardening is her talent, it’s what she was meant to do, but there’s more to her than just flowers right? Sprout also enjoys many other various hobbies. She does a lot of different and sometimes random activities, she enjoys likes hiking, sky diving, painting, running, weightlifting, makeup and all sorts of different stuff. She really adores to keep her daily routine interesting activities and loves to try new things!
 
Limestone eventually found herself crushing on the mare and was in absolute denial. She??? Limestone Pie! Of all ponies, crushing on a pretty, cute, intelligent, strong- SILLY FLORIST MARE? She was really awkward around her at first (as well as having lots of trouble expressing her feelings, the pie household isn’t the most “expressive” family around y’know, except for pinkie, who might express herself a bit too much). Sprout was probably well aware of Limestone’s feelings but liked to tease her about it.
