The Starswirl Do-Over. It was released around the time these new shorts are being made. In fact, some of the specials are based novels, Forgotten Friendship was adapted from a Friendship to Remember.
 
So, there’s a possibility that they’re might be a upcoming special of a sorts, but that’s all i got since i don’t have any predictability skills on whats going to happen to the show, unlike several crybabies throwing a fit about the upcoming reboot.

Well, in the book where the recent shorts are based on, the Dazzlings aren’t redeemed but aren’t trying to get revenge or anything. They’re still mad at Sunset, but are powerless to do anything about their situation so they just accept the fact that they don’t have magic and live their lives as normal humans.
