Christmas took up many pagan elements of Yule or Winter Solstice, but since we do see a priest during a funeral, it makes sense to believe in something similar.  
Then again, it’s like asking whether Jesus exists in DnD. It’s not Earth, it’s ponies in their own world they also happen to call earth.

Not a fan of mixing any religion with ponies. Note that Hearthswarming takes all the secular aspects of Christmas and other similarly themed holidays and uses them while eschewing anything religious. It’s nice having a TV show that doesn’t shove religion down your throat.
