I accept this because I have a canon where windy and rider did not like each other so they did not see each other after they got married so dash and dust did not know they were cousins.

Windy isn’t that old…Wind Rider is too old to be her sibling. He’s NOT too old to be her father though (and thus Dashie’s grandfather). I don’t think he actually is…but it’s within the realm of possibility, I’d have no problem heacanoning that.
