I kinda hope they address this glaringly obvious mistake on his part. Wouldn’t it be funny if his downfall was indirectly caused by getting rid of the one unicorn that could directly benefit him?
“Sombra was doomed from the start, foal. If the ponies didn’t do him in, I would have to eliminate the competition. There’s only room for one lord of terror around here.”
Considering that he has gotten himself killed 3-4 times so far, mostly out of a stubborn refusal to learn from his mistakes, especially given how his one trick doesn’t seem to work all that well, what do you think he could possibly contribute with?
He has little ability that one of the other villains can’t do better, he’s kind of a moron who couldn’t think his way out of an open closet and the way he runs around like a retarded lemming, constantly getting killed, means having him around would require Grogar to constantly waste magical power bringing him back from the dead. You could almost say that keeping him around would be an active detriment to the team.
I think Grogar brought Sombra back twice during the premiere.
Once about 1/3 through the first episode, and again right before the end of it.
Goat Demon can probably bring Pony Dracula back again whenever he likes.
Could be a wild card for the finale.
He could just faked his death again just to fool growgar

“To be fair, we would’ve all been ‘lords of terror’ had we won so…why not just smite us?”
“…”
Like all villains, he grossly underestimates the main characters’ mastery over the power of ass-pull.
>didn’t learn from his mistakes
>took over crystal empire in seconds
>then took over equestria in even less time
Don’t pretend he doesn’t just get better with every loss.

“I know you can.”
“…Where did you get the courage?”
“If I said it didn’t involve nearly sending all of Equestria’s magic into another realm, I’d be lying!”
@Amethyst_Crystal
