I’m pretty sure that was the reason why they cast Aloma Steele. At least she doesn’t sound like Rarity.
Though Kasumi still does Rarity. Probably that they found Aloma was a better fit for a Luna singing voice than Kazumi. (Honestly, the few times Kasumi did Luna’s singing, it came out like Rarity)
Kazumi Evans no longer sings for Luna. Starting with Luna’s Future in A Hearth’s Warming Tail, it seems that Aloma Steele is her new singing voice.
