As big jim said that no character fall in love, the title is titled the friendship is magic by lauren faust, not romance is magic. Fluttercord are a friendship relationship. Let’s not take things seriously. Ship whatever you want is to fun, don’t declare that one is canon. Remember, it’s a tv kid show., if that happened that lot folks would be disappointed. That’s why they don’t want their characters to fall in love. The romance only focuses with other characters that explains with big mac with sugar belle, not with the mains.

A love interest for those character is not a bad idea in itself but it need to be introduced in a better way than “bumping onto a creature from another species in a convoluted alternate universe shit constructed about the view that boomer have of their high school year in 1979”.Let say that Flash Sentry is in G5 cast and is pushed as a love interest for G5 Twilight,that could work if they let the character be a pony,introduce him much earlier and not make them fall in love at first sight.Anything will work better than the shit that we had.Make them good friends,make them slowly realize their feelings for each other,dont make Barbie and Ken is my main point here.The pattern i describe is very broad,it’s a bare bones scenario granted but at least it sound less like a forced corporate demand that crowbared his way into a fictional universe
