One’s a main character. The other is a background character. One’s a borderline Sue with the universe bending to her will, the other is a well-written character that only shows up when she can serve the overarching plot of an episode.

I totally forgot that grim is basically already apart of the fandom.
 
I also remembered that they already have experience dealing with ponies during the crass unicorn episode.
 
Although. Mary Francis (I think that’s how her name is spelled) probably gave mandy a different perception of ponies then what equestria would provide.

Even without that, Mandy is pretty badass in a fight. Given the number of monsters and demons she had physically beat the crap out of, she’s pretty tough with just her hands.

I know not to mention that she is able to use grim’s scythe whenever she pleases. And even death aka grim himself is scared of her so yeah it’s best that no one fucks with Mandy.
