Pristine is a very sweet, kind and polite pony. She has a really soothing presence and is truly a delight to be around her, but besides her loving personality, life sure wasn`t the softest on Pris, Pristine’s pregnancy was a very delicate yet though one, and it got AJ sick all the time, needing her to be bedridden most of the time.
She was born slightly premature and undersized, and she probably wasn’t breathing when she first came out. Pristie turned out to be a very fragile and weak pony, causing her mommas to worry about her a lot and be super extra overprotective of her. Pristie definetely isn’t cut out for farm work, and can’t perform activities that demand physical effort, like running or just sports and most of outdoors activites in general, so she’s usually stays indoors with momma Rarity as both her mothers wouldn’t prefer her to be outside where no one can keep an eye on her.
Pristie can’t help but feel like burden and that she’s holding people back sometimes… Specially when she can’t keep up with them because she’s weak and fragile. She just doesn’t want to cause trouble to anyone, specially her moms.

- Ever since Pristie was still inside AJ’s tummy, Rarity was already extra wrorried about her to the point she seemed a bit paranoid about it. Applejack always said she was overreacting, but when they found out about Pristie’s health, after one accident or another, AJ became as much as a worrywart as Rares.
- Rarity and AJ tend to sugarcoat things a lot for Pristine. There was this time when Pris wanted to buck a tree, and AJ was so worried she would get hurt somehow that she might have given the tree just a slight little kick. It was kinda cute when she was a filly but when she became a teen it quite bothered Pris sometimes as her mothers sometimes wouldn’t let her do things on her own, but she avoids talking about it becuase she doesn’t want to hurt her Mom’s feelings.
- It was pretty though for Pris to live as a child, since she couldn’t run around with the other ponies (specially because the other fillies were so afraid they could hurt her or something) she would mostly stick with board games. Sometimes her only company during break time was the teacher.
- Pristine has very weak lungs and that’s one of the main boundaries between her and physical activities. It won’t be long untill she begins hyperventilating, and in the worst of cases, collapsing. Due to that, she started taking singing classes with her auntie Coloratura, focusing on the breathing exercises to improve her lungs strenght. She knows it’s mostly for health purposes, but she enjoys is quite a lot.
-Pris is on her early teens, and hasn’t got a cutie mark yet, probably because of the fact that Rares and AJ are super overprotective of little cotton ball child, to the point that they might not let Pristie live her life to the fullest sometimes, so maybe she hasn’t experienced much to find out what her talent is.
