one question everyone was asking was “what were they like?” so you’re wrong that it didn’t answer ANY questions. Also, it’s fair to praise Grogar because he’s already shown to be more competent than the other villains because he didn’t have to lose to the mane 6 to realize their greatest strength and is willing to work with others to succeed. While he’s not “the best Gen4 antagonist” yet, he has MASSIVE potential, especially if you remember him in G1. If they don’t change him much from his original, he could be terrifying when they ACTUALLY face him.
 
Edit: Also, involving the eye. OP was referring to the eye Grogar uses as a crystal ball. He’s not poorly designed either. They tweaked his original G1 design and he’s not poorly implemented yet. We just haven’t seen him in action yet. Remember, this is the final season and HE’S the new villain. That means he may be capable of something huge, especially if he gets his bell back.

I don’t mind people getting excited about something. But at this point we have loads of tin foil hat conspiracy theorists who praise Grogar based on his G1 appearance, disregarding the fact that he did absolutely nothing in G4 worthy of calling him “The Best MLP antagonist”. It’s like with people who wanted to know “What happend to AJ’s Parents?” who were overhypeing “Perfect Pear” before it’s release. When in actuallity, as it came out, it didn’t answer the single question everyone was asking about.

Nothing wrong with that, it’s good they can get excited over the things we can’t, you don’t need to be so harsh.

Also who drew something of pentogram to free or give a life for king Sombra? Who got a stick?

There might be some connection, but it’s still a bit of a stretch

Even on this direct comparasing, you can see that the eye-shape is completly diffrent. It couldn’t be Grogar and he wasn’t shown to have any “henchmen” at his disposal.
