I just always thought it would be nice if equestria had humans who were actually born there because this is an idea I’ve had for a long time like oc’s Nick and Molly for an example originally I was planning to have them actually as actual humans from earth who somehow find theirselves in the world of equestria and I was planning to have a plot twist that reveals they were from equestria to begin with their parents on earth are their adoptive parents who are very abusive to them but nick and molly are some of the sweetest kids ever in fact they were also originally going to be the only humans who were ever born in equestria and have help from spike and the mane 6 help them find out who their real family is.
Hopefully this was a good enough explanation. I’m not the best at explaining things but I tried okay.

damn, I stand corrected on the developing tech issue then.
Emerging tech is already in play. The US Government maintains weapons that are up to 20 years more advanced than what is forward deployed. Systems known as “black technology” are considered so advanced by the DoD, they are not allowed to be used in combat unless we are engaged in WWIII, in which case the weapons would be deployed to achieve what is called Strategic Surprise, overwhelming the enemy with weapons systems they aren’t prepared to counter. An example of this could be seen in the Bin Laden raid and the use of black program stealth black hawks, both of which were gen 1 built in the 60s due to gen 2 and 3 versions being deemed too technologically valuable to use in a single overseas operation.
So in short, we already have the technology. We just need an excuse to use it. Money is never a problem when the funds are black.
