Plus, even if you get sprayed, it just takes a quick tomato juice bath to get rid of the smell, then a regular bat (or shower) to get rid of the tomato juice.
It does not smell like burning rubber to me. And there are much, much worse smells out there. Raw sewage, gasoline, rotted meat, burned flesh, all of them much worse than skunk.
You think something reminiscent of burning rubber is ‘pleasant’?
