Indeed. Everything is fictionalized or parodied. :)
Definitely the Dart for this car, especially the sportier GT trim model. The Dart’s design here looks slightly altered by the artist itself to looked like more fictional and fitting to the pony world.

I am pretty sure it’s a Dodge parody as well. The interior seats say Buffalo on them, and it has been shown before that Buffalo is a brand of autos in this series. There is also Pony brand and some others. This little car Lily owns looks a bit sportier than the Hyundai, and it is shaped more like a Dart. I wonder what the model name is?
This may be a leap of logic on my part, but I think it is supposed to be a dodge.
Because buffalo are based in something akin to the old west.
So Buffalo have to get out of dodge.

I was actually going to say 2011-2015 Hyundai Elantra myself.
But I have no idea what brand name “Buffalo” is a take-off of.
Well, looks like I’m the only one who focusing the car in the first panel, is it just me or I’m the only one who seeing the car on the first panel looks like a 2013-16 Dodge Dart?
Also I love seeing Lily play ball with this and flirt back rather than freak out.
How much frosting has she leaked onto that seat?
I wish I could figure out why this isn’t showing up on my watched list like all the other Adorkable comics. It’s not like I have the “suggestive” tag hidden, just spoilered; and my one watch list filter doesn’t apply here.Edit: Never mind, I figured it out – I thought the “hide images spoiled by filter” checkbox was talking about the watchlist filter right above it on the settings page, not the general filter used for all of Derpibooru. Now I have to go back and see what-all else I’ve missed…

Might as well pinched the pony meat in Panel 4 before upgrading into a bite.

I think in this instance its more of a case of communication. Starlight has been pretty vague on whether she likes him or not, even when Spike has expressly asked it. With Lily, she has given much more unambiguous signs that she is attracted to him. Combined with them being on an actual date, it makes more sense for him to be a bit more daring.
