The problem is that instead of tapering off like an Ibex horns, they suddenly widen near the curve, which makes them look more like elongated ram horns. If his physique were bulkier, it might work, but as it is now it just looks awkward.

I’m rather pleased that he threw King Sombra under the proverbial bus. Sombra was always powerful but the fans never really knew how powerful. In his brief stint returning, he caused a LOT of irreparable damage all by himself, yet even at that, Grogar continued to call him a fool and let him serve as a warning for the remaining villains as to what awaits them should they defy him and try to conquer on their own once more.
 
It goes to show also that if King Sombra could have kept his physical form the last time he went up against the Mane 6 in season 3, there is a non-zero chance he could have succeeded. And even Grogar knew that that wouldn’t have been enough. It was kinda cool that he was willing to give up a potentially powerful ally just to make a point.
