Another part that was not shown in the movie. I remember reading from somewhere that after disapearing from Le-koro (after Tahu’s curing) Kopaka went to look for the boys and leaded them to Kini nui. In my headcanon, Pohatu and Onua were allmost crushed under the ruins of Onu-koro, but were only saved by Onua’s powers on keeping the rocks crushing ontop of them. Finaly Kopaka comes out of nowhere and digs them out.
 
Here Kopaka is patching up his brothers before they leave to Kini nui to fight the Racshis.
