Because telling someone who doesn’t agree with you to seek help, for just not agreeing with you, isn’t insulting.
 
And now you’re trying to act all polite and such to cover up the fact you were being rude before.
 
And regardless of what you think, it’s not “out of the box thinking” it’s a lazy out of nowhere plot device that seems like it was randomly picked from a hat.
 
Seriously.
 
Of all things they could add to Twilight’s character, they made her afraid of ladybugs.
 
I would double facepalm to the ridiculousness of that.

It’s not meant as an insult. Just some advice. And reading your fourth sentence here now, I think you’re suffering from low self-esteem.  
It’s possible for everyone to make a point or argument but, in that case, you didn’t get it right.  
Making a point requires logical thinking, examination and, sometimes, even a bit of Out-Of-The-Box thinking. Simply jumping to the first convenient conclusion is not enough.

All you’re pretty much doing is saying “There isn’t a plothole, because I said so!” as if whatever you say is just law, set in stone forever.
 
And I don’t really have an obsession with anything, I’m just willing to look at things from different angles and actually think my own thoughts about them, unlike you.
 
And clearly, just suddenly introducing Twilight having a fear of ladybugs out of nowhere is pretty dumb, whether you agree or not.

I think you should seek mental help. Or get a biopsy. It’s not an insulting counter, I mean it. You should get help. Because you have a maniacal obsession with it that there is a plothole, which goes so far that you even ignore objective evidence for it that this plothole does not exist.  
Something like this is not normal, it means you hide from a reality that you fear. And fearing a certain reality always goes back to a medical issue. You should go and see a doctor.

I’m not saying it’s a plot hole or anything, I’m simply pointing out that it is. You’re the one writing a giant comment out of desperation to try to be right.
 
For Twilight to suddenly just be afraid of ladybugs is in fact stupid, since she wouldn’t be have been ok with still doing the little song and dance with Cadance if she had been afraid of them all this time.
 
So you can just stop with your pathetic attempt at starting a stupid argument and grow up.

Wow, someone is really salty here~ Looks like you are one of those people who need a bit of greater detail in the responses they get….. But I’ll try to make it short, for the sake of my mental health and the sake of your attention span:
 

 
You’re saying it’s bad writing, or, a plot inconsistency, that we found out that Twilight is afraid of ladybugs in this short. You reason it by pointing to it how Cadance and Twilight have a song together that is thematically about ladybugs since Twilight was a little filly. You say that doesn’t fit together; Twilight wouldn’t sing such a song about ladybugs and dance to it if she were afraid of ladybugs.  
And you are completely wrong with all of this.
 
The first thing that makes this obvious is you drawing a connection between fictional song lyrics and actual ladybugs. What you do here, is assuming that a fear of ladybugs would automatically bring a fear of the word “ladybug” with it. This is a fallacy in your thinking, because that is not how phobias work.  
Twilight is afraid of the insect called “ladybug” when they are around her and she can see them and when they can see her, because Shining Armor told her that their black spots are extra eyes who watch her when she was a filly. Twilight explained that word by word and said how she can’t deal with it that they are everwhere in the school because of Fluttershy’s project.
 
Twilight expressed that she is scared of ladybugs being around her and nowhere in the short did she say, imply or show that even hearing the word “ladybug” invokes this fear.
 
The second thing that makes this obvious, if the first one wasn’t already enough, is that you showcase to have zero knowledge about psychological methods to reduce or remove fear in children.  
Singing songs to little children to ease their fears of something is a very common method. The idea is to let them associate the object of their fear with something funny and lighthearted. Parents, caretakers, even babysitters use this method to help children through their fears.  
Cadance was Twilight’s babysitter and, as such, had an interest in easing Twilight’s fear of ladybugs. Shining Armor invoked this fear in Twilight by telling her a scary, and wrong, story about ladybugs. Cadance tried to ease that negative association with ladybugs by teaching Twilight a silly and lighthearted song about them. And by occasionally singing it with her and dancing with her to it, in the hopes that, eventually, her fear of ladybugs would go away again.  
Now if we combine these two things, that phobias don’t work in that way that already hearing the name of ladybugs would Twilight cause to get scared and instead that only the actual presence of an actual ladybug does invoke the fear and that songs are commonly used to take certain fears away from children, we will see that everything here fits together perfectly.
 
This short does not contain a contradiction, it is the result of the writer sitting down and asking themselves “Does it make sense that Twilight is afraid of ladybugs, even though she and Cadance use to sing a song about them?”.  
And then coming to the conclusion “Yes, it does make sense, because Twilight is not afraid of the word “ladybug” but of the actual insects when they are around her because she is afraid that they watch her all the time and children get calmed down with songs, so the reason why Cadance sang this song to Twilight is that she wanted to make her fear of ladybugs go away. This fits together, so I can write this without contradicting something that has been previously established.”
 

 
The gist of this is:
 
The writer of this short did not contradict anything. They put logical thoughts into this and correctly deducted that Twilight’s fear of ladybugs is not a contradiction, before writing it as the plot of this short. But you don’t understand how psychology and phobias work and you have zero knowledge about how caretakers and parents attempt to ease the fears of children and interpret it as a plothole and as “bad writing” because you lack the knowledge and understanding you would need to see why it isn’t “bad writing”.  
You are simply wrong with your assumption that it’s a continuity error.  
Furthermore, you don’t like it to be proven wrong in something, because you have an inexplicable desire to always be in the right. Hence why my opposition here, and this detailed explanation I have just given you, offend you and provoke you to call me an “asshole”, an “arrogant little jerk”, a “little child”, one who acts “all high and mighty” like “my word is law”, why you accuse me of feeling special and that I can’t do any wrong and why you call me an “entitled little brat”.  
But I am neither of these things. The reality is just very simple:
 
You got it wrong that it’s a continuity error and you hate that being told. And that’s all there is to it.

I really love how people like you are such little children about stuff like this. You try to act all high and mighty, like your word is law, and like you actually have some authority or something.
 
Just because your mommy and daddy always told you that you’re special and can do no wrong, doesn’t mean it’s true.
 
When writers just decide to throw something in for a single episode with no build up or anything of the sort, and it’s never addressed again, that’s bad writing, whether a entitled little brat like you likes it or not.
 
Facts don’t care about your feelings.

The only one acting like that is you, by accusing MLP: FiM and its writers of a plothole that does not exist, except for in your own head.  
I see how that is tough to deal with, but that plothole you like so much is not actually there.

I’m afraid of spiders, yet, a cartoon about a talking spider was one of my favourites during my foalhood.

I remember when I was young I couldn’t even standard tiny spiders but I wasn’t scared of itsy-bitsy spider or Spider-man

I’m sure lots of people who are afraid of spiders would be able to say “The Itsy-Bitsy Spider” with no problem.

This don’t make sense anymore.

Or maybe the song was Cadance’s way to calm her down and keep her phobia in check? We’ve seen the hoof-to-chest, breathe-out calming for anxious stress; I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Cadance isn’t just a foalsitter, she’s a professional counselor hired by Twi’s folks as a sitter/skill-building counselor for their autistic daughter.
