Anyway, this is my interpretation of Wreck-it Ralph characters as horses. I’ve seen so many pictures of these guys in MLP style, that I was inspired. Unfortunately, the MLP style did not really suit me, so I tried something more fitting, and thus came this.
I chose specific horse breeds to represent each character. (Thankfully, I have a horse breed guide.) 3 of these characters led to obvious choices of breed.
For his bulk and strength, Ralph became a Clydsedale. With a pint-size stature and friendly nature, Felix is supposed to be a Shetland pony (though I think he turned out looking more like a Miniature horse). As a child racer, what better choice for Vanellope than a Thoroughbred foal? The only one that gave me trouble was Calhoun. I wanted a war horse breed, but most of them were too bulky for the look I wanted for her. Finally, I found and settled on the Welsh cob, a fairly regal breed with the versatilty to take on pretty much any kind of job.
Wreck-it Ralph belongs to Disney.
