(I intended to use the word spiracles but I couldn’t come up with any spelling close enough to get autocorrect to suggest that word—mostly due to thinking it started with sph instead of spi)
The spiracles, as they are called, are nearly microscopic, and don’t go ALL the way through them. The Insect respiratory system is also incapable of supporting any large/complex creatures, let alone something as large as a changeling. Also if they had visible spiracles they’d probably be in the form of tiny little holes along the torso hooked up to some kind of lung system that evolved from trachea.
