To be fair, anyone who watched the show should get the obvious implication that “our mother” refers to Pharynx and Thorax since they talk to each other at the time. Only a complete outsider could think Ember is implied to be a sibling here. If you are on this website, you’re not an outsider ;D

Let’s be real here, Embrynx is more believable than Embrax. Ember may be more in touch with her emotions, now, but she’s still a dragon - a species centered around strength, confidence, etc. I think for mating purposes she’s gonna be attracted to those things more than anything. After all, she still finds simple hugs awkward, so she’s not about to be swooned over by cute, cuddly and understanding types like Thorax. Sure, good friends, but as blasphemous as it sounds, that is a very separate thing from sexual love, shippers.
