I recently figured out how to get the “Chowder” effect for textures in Blender, so I wanted to try it out on Luna’s mane with a blue outer space image. I had trouble with her eyes, so I gave up on getting them right and did a lolwut.

I’ll look forward to future versions of yours, the ethereal mane is such a hard thing to pull off. I’m trying to do it in 2D with little luck.
Yeah, I could make the texture move along the mane. Transparency might look a bit strange (at least how I’m imagining it) but I could do that as well, I think.
