My mother used to become furious if she found the thermostat set higher than 60. Heck, 60 was usually too high for her liking. This in even the worst Pennsylvania winters. You feel cold? Put on a jacket.

My parents were really strict about the thermostat. I still rarely set it higher than 64.

I’m having this problem in my own house.

It is so cold here now, there was an Emergency Alert System warning that asked everyone in my and six other surrounding counties, not cities, counties, to turn our thermostats down to sixty-five or less so that Consumer’s Energy does not get overwhelmed, making it so no one has heat. Spike is a hero. While those other two villains who care not for the well being every pony else in town, or even the surrounding towns for that matter, might end up being the reason for thousands of ponies being found frozen to death the next morning. Simply because they would not allow Spike to turn the thermostat down because their delicate, pampered forms could not stand a measly seven degree decrease in temperature.
 
Now, I realize the thermostat reads sixty-seven, however, he was still in the process of turning it down, read saving Equestria, when he was foiled by those foul fiends.

I put dragons in the archosaur group which include dinosaur, birds, and crocodile. Being that dragons can breathe fire, they probably have a higher body temperature than ponies. So Spike would probably feel more comfortable with a lower temperature.

The MyPillow nod made me chuckle. I’m sure that’s a reference not everyone will get.

You’d think Starlight would just use this as an excuse to grab Spike and force him to keep her warm.

Wouldn’t dragons be warm blooded? They breathe fire and are based off dinosaurs, which were warm blooded.

To be fair, I’d react the same way as Starlight and Moondancer unless it was summer.
