Personality in detail: As a middle child of four, growing up in a very tight neighbourhood, Starry Eye had to learn early on how to get along with other ponies. She has a strong sense of community and family, and always walks a thin line between social respectablity and the expression of herself. But from her mother’s side, she also got a strong will and the persistance to get through difficult situations.  
Though she’s not the most knowledgable pony, she has an open mind and learns quickly. She believes that with hard work you can get through anything… or at least she used to believe in that.  
But despite her becoming a cutie mark crusader and trying many things, her cutie mark just wouldn’t appear… until one fateful afternoon when, during a short rest at home, the mysterious star appeared on her flank.  
Since then, she’s plagued by vivid hallucinations and painful convulsions whenever she’s experiencing true friendship and unrestrained love.  
Eventually, when the pain became unbearable, Starry Eye was sent to the preceptory of the Nightmares in Ponyville, where she received temporary treatment. Though the Nightmares could not heal her condition, they taught her techniques to control her nerves and find peace in stressful situation.  
When her treatment was over, she could have easily left the order. But instead, she chose to stay and now works there as a caretaker in professional proximity.
 
Occupation: Assistant caretaker in the Nightmares’ preceptory (a monastery and day clinic located in Ponyville)  
Hobbies and interests: repairing clockworks, strolling through the garden, soccer
