Other such Locations such as Somnambula (which is also Saddle Arabia) are deduced via the offical Hasbro Map.
It’s a fusion of various sources but this is about as accurate as it’s going to get.

That’s because prior to the events of the film and tv show, Capper and Chummer go to the Klugetown in the Bone Dry Desert that is south of Equestria and not the Klugetown in Abyssinia because the Storm King have already taken over and conquered the entire kingdom/continent of Abyssinia.
Saddle Arabia is possibly northeast of Abyssinia. Just think about it. Saddle Arabia is a pony pun for Saudi Arabia and Abyssinia in real life is better known as the Ethiopian Empire.
A further idea: the Griffins and Gryphons could form a nation to rival Equestria if they all decided to move back to their homelands. However, most of them prefer living integrated with other species and only a few royalist holdouts still live in Griffinstone.
Friendship-powered absolute monarchy is the only government that stands to the test of time.

i think the planet of equus is about the size of earth
I mean, we don’t know where on the globe this is, or even if it is a globe.
This is how it’s portrayed in the show, keep in mind there’s a bit of distortion for their actual positioning, in reality it should be more in line with Somnambula but due to the way the cutie map is projected onto the table I had to adjust the positioning to make everything link up.

Klugetown is named twice. One in Equestria and one located in Abyssinia as seen in the fiendship is magic comics. Lots of places in history have been named the same.
