People thinking there are any “hints” of Rarity and Applejack liking each other that way (or of Rarity being lesbian at all), are even more delusional that those that think there’s any possiblity the show will confirm Sparity. And that’s already delusional.
 
But of course, double-standards and lesbian-obsession are a thing (especially in this fanbase), so people will still try to find excuses (or at worst remain silent) to defend one delusional craziness, while simultaneously arguing against another despite how unlikely both are. Even worse considering one has at least one-sided shipping fuel, while the other truly exists nowhere but people’s minds.

I mean… this isn’t much of a point because they were both already entirely different species, lol. FICTIONAL ones, even. So not much really changed there.
 
I dunno, I don’t ship Sparity per se, but I wouldn’t be surprised – nay, I’m actually kind of expecting – if in the ending episode, there’s some montage of time passing and they show Spike landing near the boutique as an obvious adult and not creepily still clearly coded as a child, and Rarity looks at him like “oh… my gawdt.” And that’s it, nothing more.
 
I mean, next to Shining Armor and Cadance, they’re basically the closest thing the show has to a li’l romance subplot, and usually the yearner gets with their yearned-for, or is hinted to, in those kinds of backround callbacks.
 
I guess that makes me crazy though? For what it’s worth I don’t understand the last panel of this meme, if that gives me sanity cred.
