That’s because in an early draft of the film, Captain Celaeno was originally gonna be a redeemed villain and was originally gonna be called “Madame Harpy”.

It probably was then. I was just trying to make sure since some studios make animation tests that don’t end up being in the film. It’s just a way for the animators can get used to fleshing out the character’s personalities in how they move, to see if the designs are animation friendly, and to see if the puppets/models work and aren’t glitchy or anything like that.
Okay, so maybe this would’ve been pretty cool to watch. On the other hand, if we had this scene, we wouldn’t have gotten Cpt. Celaeno and her crew of harpy/parrot buccaneers. Think about it, my dudes. X3

I think the Celaeno we got now looks a bit better.

Think it might be deleted?
The rest of the animation tests on the video are scenes that did happen in the movie
@Joshua
We would have still had her in some shape or form. She just would have looked different and had a different name. Same role basically.
Boy, do I wish. But there are two other animation reels on Vimeo.
