It’s weird and partly arbitrary.
Even though we’ve seen Ocellus protect the student 6 in School Daze, it is Sandbar who has the purple ability (protection), and Ocellus has the green ability for some reason.
Cheerilee is also green, and her specialty is called chalk drawing or whatever… I really don’t get it.
