When she found herself in Equestria Rarity was deeply distressed after seeing a number of students get eagerly ingested by the gigantic ponies and, before anyone could persuade her otherwise, she fled Canterlot High and sought out refuge from the hungry giants. As she expected the pony version of Fluttershy offered her sanctuary and made it clear to everypony who came round that her human guest was not to be eaten… without her consent.
 
After a few days Rarity worked up the courage to ask Fluttershy about the suggestion that people would willingly feed themselves to giants. With a bit of coaxing from her tiny human friend Fluttershy explained how humans were both delicious to ponies and completely immune to digestion. Sceptical at first Rarity asked if she could bring some of her human friends round to discuss this matter. A couple of more days passed and Rarity accepted the truth and so, come teatime, she leapt into Fluttershy’s pudding. As Fluttershy asked her over and over if she was truly intent on this Rarity compared it to a spa visit, but cheaper. If Fluttershy could be her spa then she’d be happy to be Fluttershy’s food. Overjoyed that a close friend would do this without any coercion, Fluttershy eagerly opened her mouth as wide as she could to let human Rarity inside.
