I do know of them, actually, I commissioned a couple pics from them a while ago, which you can find on here (they’re follow ups to the Futa Dinky/Futa Derpy pic he was commissioned to do).
 
But yeah, I do like the variety their does with their animations.

I think Black and Screwing are sort of stuck in their ways of characters. If you want variety, look to AnthroPoniesSFM. He doesn’t animate a lot, and it is short loops, but they are incredibly hot and well done. I actually think he is the best animator in terms of life-like movement.

Personally, I’m still holding out some hope that he finishes those MLP animations and, with this being the new year, I really hope we get to see more character variety from him and Screwing, since it’d be kind of nice to see characters who haven’t been used/used often get something in the form SFM animations.
 
But yeah, I hope Black doesn’t pull the teasing stuff again this year.

I don’t think animation in Blender is hard per-se, they just need to develop their workflow. I myself use Blender, and while it is a confusing mess, the actual animation process is way faster than SFM’s system. It’s just a shortcut key and boom, got a new frame in.
 
Still your points are valid about Black teasing his Patreons with MLP projects, then simply going back to human animations. I have been on his Patreon for years now, and it sucks that is what it comes down to. Teasing, then going back to those human animations. I seriously hope he follows his New Years promise of making more MLP animations, but considering he is starting with three human animations at the start of the year is no good sign to me.

Problem with hooves art although his quality is Steller, its just 10-30 seconds loops or max. Black is smart though as he knows how to bring back MLP fans in to gain money back before the end of the month then to go back to human junk.
 
During his lack of MLP period which includes short loops he lost almost 1K a month. So what he did was “tease” an MLP project, gained subscribers back, then never got back to those projects. Its kind of a dick move but thats how you keep the fanbase that made him popular.
 
He knows if he outright says he will stop MLP he would lose 2/3 of his audience, so what he does is throw an MLP animation or previews projects that he may never get back to in order to keep alot of people.
 
He animators for a living and he has no other job. He does what he loves and makes almost 50k a year and still lives with his parents. He is not that busy except during the occasional family gathering and animating. Plus he plays video games all day and watches anime during rendering.
 
Not that its a bad thing. If I could make money animating porn and it was easy for me I did. I tried but its too damn hard for me at least. Those who animate in blender is even harder and have more talent like Pixel-Perry. Black has been trying blender lately and its even hard for him lol.

I’d reckon the Blackjr has just been preoccupied with irl stuff, or that’s at least what I image is the causes most content creators to fade into the background a bit. He also might just be more interested in Overwatch, or it just makes him more Patreon money.  
There’s at least other people to fill in, like Hooves-Art, which I really enjoy. Hooves also makes content somewhat regularly.

Back in the day 2015-2016 Black would focus on a few projects at most and was able to include multiple angles, cumshots, and sexy positions. Each animation would last between 2-4 minutes and was what made BlackJr so popular. It took around a month or 2 max for a full quality animation. Now we end up waiting months for short loop animations with less angles and such. Lately, Black has slowly been coming back to his old quality but it still lacking compared to his old stuff.
 
Ever since Overwatch came out along with other anime weebish stuff, black has been way too preoccupied with random ideas and Overwatch porn which is even more generic then MLP at this point. There are enough human SFM animators out there with some even better quality than Black. I dont mind if he does a human animation here and there but Black became popular due to his MLP animations. Lately he has been coming back to MLP but he still is too preoccupied with random ideas and human animations which is why these animations seem rushed and lack the “BlackJr” factor.
 
ScrewingwithSFM seems to be filling that void, however, he lacks futa on female content and does not include sound in all of his animations. Plus Black has things in his animations that stand out such as ball throbbing and pussy flexing.
 
Plus Blacks cumshots and cremapies are one of the best in terms of SFM porn. I just wish he would create a Discord or something to communicate with his audience because he no longer does on patreon, Skype, and his twitter has been inactive for over 2 years.

I’d honestly prefer it if they took months to create porn, if it meant a substantial boost in overall quality. Blackjr seems more focused on quantity over quality though, no offense to him. I’d probably do the same if I could make buttloads of cash off of people that easily.

Yeah, I think that would take it a bit too far though. I certainly would not strive for that kind of perfection in my animations. Then again, I use NexGen, so it would not be as noticeable either.

He’s more than likely using the AkkoPussy in this animation (has the design), which is not attached to the Soria body. Unless he was to go through frame by frame and clean all those up with the smudge tool in Photoshop, it will just have to remain noticeable.

At this point I kinda wish he’d just say he’s giving up on pony and do the overwatch stuff. It feels like his heart’s not in it anymore, and we have other SFMers who have since overtaken him too. Right now he’s stagnating. Or getting worse? All so he doesn’t lose the fanbase he built up before. But it’s not worth the constant disappointment. Spreading himself out has done him no favours, I’d like to see him pick a side.

Yeah and, to be honest, if he does eventually do new animations with mlp, it’s a little disappointing he’s staring up with a trio of human animations, I hope he eventually finishes the CMC animation, at least, as well as the other and keeps his promise of eventually doing something with Derpy.

I think you’re right about the human anims. I want to travel to an alternate dimension where Overwatch doesn’t exist and BlackJr continues to work exclusively on MLP anims.
