That’s why the first 3 generations of My Little Pony were made, but Friendship is Magic was made for more than to sell little pony toys, it was made to show people that so-called “girly” things aren’t just for girls; Lauren said she wanted to make a TV-show for girls to be cool and not be all about tea parties, dresses, picking flowers or other stupid things like that, she wanted people to see that “girly” things can be enjoyed by guys and that “girly” things she wanted FiM to appeal to people of all ages and both genders.
