Nah, what’s PC these days is to just avoid genders at all. Like Pokémon dropped the memorable “are you a boy or girl” line.

Anyway, I can think of one company that did this marketing gimmick in the 90’s. There was this recorder from the movie Home Alone 2 called the Talkboy and they released a pink one at the same time called the Talkgirl.

I still knew alot of girls whom loved the Gameboy. (This was back before everything had to be “gender neutral.”)
Some girls state it was the first “boy” they fell in love with.

Lol true enough, but it’s still the sort of marketing gimmick I’d expect them to pull regardless. Maybe more so nowadays than back in the 80s/90s though… :)

Did the Gameboy have a accessory to connect three Gameboys at the same time, instead of just two?

Yeah, they had an official 4-player adapter, but very few 4-player games.
The best 4-player GB game was “Faceball 2000.” I like to think that’s what they’re playing here.

Yeah, he posted an image of the Game Boy Pocket. There was also the Game Boy Light. It was basically a version of the Game Boy Pocket only sold in Japan with a backlit screen.

Interesting, I’m trying to remember just how many aftermarket accessories the Gameboy had… Things like .5 megapixel cameras and tiny little battery powered black and white printers… Magnifying glasses and lights so you can play in the dark… I think I even remember a TV tuner…
