In all honesty, I’m rather glad that the show has moved away from using friendship lasers to defeat villains – it isn’t a terribly realistic way of showing friendship solving problems, and consequently it isn’t a very useful way of teaching lessons about friendship applicable in real life.

This is how bad the writers are at writing.
