As dinner is about to be served, Sunrise notices Sunset is sniffing the food and asks if something is wrong. Sunset answers that nothing is wrong, and that the food smells really good. Then she fully admits that she’s always loved her mother’s cooking, even though she never said it when she was younger.
 
This moment is actually going to be in the first episode of Sunset’s Redemption audio drama, hence one of the reasons I drew it, that and I really want to get this project under way. It’s not easy drawing since I have a job, and sometimes I work five to seven days a week, but that’s okay. The end results on both fronts are good. This one was interesting to draw up due to this is the first time I’ve drawn up the Shimmer family kitchen, which is a little different from a standard four wall kitchen in many homes, there’s also another area to the left of the screen that goes to more storage areas and another counter. Now I will say this, behind Sunset’s tail is a picture I was hoping to include in there as it would show that much like her older sister, Sunny Rays can draw too, but the tail blocked most of the picture out. Oh well, maybe next time. One last thing to point out is that I almost forgot to add the shadow effects here when I was finishing the picture, but at the last minute, I went back and added them, and thus here’s the final result of all the work I’ve done on this scene.
