There’s already been a huge debate on this on a later page and why this single instances are not completely viable. But it is amusing to imagine her saying that in her shrill voice.

your current filter.I feel like “impressive” and “several” are stretching it. I can think of maybe 3 instances of her showing fighting moves: bucking the manticore, kicking Applejack away from Tom, and punching the changelings.
The first one is a standard pony thing (that literally did nothing) and the second one comes across more as a one-time joke (much like Fluttershy giving that bear a massage using martial arts).
Indeed, I’ve always found it fascinating how Rarity is so physical in combat. Her human counterpart is anything but.

No, it doesn’t. However, she’s shown some impressive moves on several occasions.
Bring able to throw a punch doesn’t necessarily equate to being a martial artist though.
And I always questioned how tough the changelings were supposed to be in that finale, since Fluttershy was literally taking some of them out while cowering.
Huh. Overlooked that one. It does make me wonder how strong changelings are in comparison to the pony tribes each. Normally one would expect Rarity as a Unicorn to use magic after all. Still it is hard to tell how good she is at self-defense from what we have seen. Even Fluttershy after all made it through the changelings with ducking alone.
Rarity in any case isn’t an athlete and I imagine an Earth Pony could overpower her when it comes to physical strength alone, but that is just an assumption on my part.

I don’t believe this is canon, is it? I mean we have a few scenes, like her kicking a manticore or in the Discord episode her kicking one of the other Mane Six away from Tom and adopting a fighting stance, but I don’t think there is any direct proof of that theory. At least I don’t remember any episode.

How would jumping out of a window help her take the ring off? It’s been glued on. Jumping into a waterfall, maybe, but i doubt such a large body of water is nearby.
