Hi guys, pumped to finally show you what Iβve been working on for over two years now. Still not done but good enough to show off. Made from scratch in blender.
This is five years old now but love those details :D still a nice work :)

Thanks! It was a lot of trial and error learning what every setting in Blenderβs hair system does- I made over 90 test renders just for the fur. The most useful tool, though, is the βDeflect emitterβ setting on the combing tools- it basically limits how far you can comb the individual hairs which makes it possible to set your brush size really high and comb the entire model in a few strokes. Then once itβs mostly how you want it, use the smooth tool to fix any problems and make transitions look better.
