Well, even though the only supporting characters to speak in the movie are Celestia, Luna, Cadance, Big McIntosh, Granny Smith, Apple Bloom, Bulk Biceps, Derpy Hooves, the Wonderbolts and Party Favor, maybe fans could possibly make an extended cut by using more speaking appearances of Big McIntosh, Granny Smith, Apple Bloom, Bulk Biceps, the Wonderbolts and Party Favor and then add speaking appearances of various other supporting characters including some that appear in the movie with no speaking roles including Starlight Glimmer, Trixie, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, the Cake Family, Discord, Night Glider, Zecora, Photo Finish, and some who didn’t appear in the movie including Shining Armor, Flurry Heart, Sunburst, Mayor Mare, Snips and Snails, Maud Pie (who appeared in a photo), Double Diamond and Sugar Belle if Kelly Sheridan, Kathleen Barr, Claire Corlett, Madeleine Peters, Brian Drummond, Tabitha St. Germain, Andrea Libman, John de Lancie, Rebecca Shoichet, Brenda Crichlow, Andrew Francis, Ian Hanlin, Cathy Weseluck, Lee Tockar, Richard Ian Cox and Ingrid Nilson could reprise the role of these characters in the movie, unless if some could use 15.ai or gather any voice actors to read the lines that should have been in the film’s script.

The purpose of top billing is to help promote the movie. As talented as the main cast were they were still just everyday actors

Feel like it should be Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, Ashleigh Ball, Tabitha St. Germain and Cathy Weseluck at the top for the cartoon show voice actors.
 
And the voice actors of the big time celebrity characters at the bottom should be Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Micheal Peña, Zoe Saldana, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba and Sia.

It was a joke, yes, about the lack of exposure the mane cast were getting compared to the “never be involved in pony again” guest stars. I thought it would be nice to see an obviously unrealistic poster that put them in the big font for once.

I made it before the movie was released, when we didn’t know which actors would be involved. It was more about just getting the main VAs instead of the guest stars on the poster for once :)
