About the designs:  
-Didn’t mess with Quibble Pants all that much; I’ve always headcanoned his hair as being near black based on how fabulous and THICC his eyebrows are (It’s very liable to change if they show his natural hair in canon)  
-Rainbow Dash I wanted to tackle, not as much as I wanted to change Twilights but still, mainly I just lightened her coat and tweaked with the mane/tail colors to kinda blend them more  
-I was never a huge fan of her having rainbow feathers cause it’s like, her hair color, I love her with yellow feathers, but I’m trying not to stray too far off from the original designs
 
About the ship:  
-Rainbow Dash and Quibble Pants would more often than not spot and greet one another at every convention the two would attend, oftentimes chatting about their thoughts and opinions on what they were in fact there at the conventions for what they were up to outside of reading their favorite books  
-With that they’ve probably been on a few knockoff Daring Do adventures together, one of which was actually fake and Rainbow probably paid for at the expense of throwing Quibble for a loop  
-They were a relatively average couple when it came to courting and eventually choosing to move in together in Ponyville, though Rainbow Dash was still pretty devoted to the Wonderbolts so she would end up spending a lot of time away from home  
-Quibble would of course attend every event he could (That didn’t interfere with conventions and book signings)  
-They’d have probably gotten married in Cloudsdale, all Wonderbolt members invited as well as close friends, Quib felt out of place  
-Eventually Dash would find out she’d be expecting their first foal rather early in the pregnancy, most likely through several weeks of morning sickness lasting through the majority of the day to the point where Spitfire practically forces her to take sick leave  
-When she informs Quibble somewhat begrudgingly he excitedly insists on her taking time off from the Wonderbolts to take care of herself and their unborn foal  
-Rainbow Dash loathed every minute of being pregnant, feeling useless when the doctor encouraged her to desist in flying while carrying, Quibble on the other hoof was overjoyed for the experience, spending more time with his wife with her on maternity leave as well as preparing for their foal on the way  
-Quibble Pants would read Rainbow’s belly Daring Do stories every night, gotta prepare future fans  
-Notably they were probably reading through Daring Do and the Quest for the Sapphire Stone (The one with the arrow holes) when she went into labor  
-Their first son’s birth had breech complications and thus resulting in a prolonged birth to Rainbow’s dismay, Quibble read the Sapphire Stone relatively loudly to her through the experience to help keep her mind preoccupied  
-They named their son Arrowhead in remembrance of the experience  
-Arrowhead, more fittingly to the name, was born a Pegasus, but because he was breeched he was born with mangled wings and eventually lost all visible evidence of ever having them as he matured, he does have a bit of feathers and is aware of the fact that he was born a Pegasus  
-As a young colt, Rainbow and Quibble explained it to him and brought up the fact that Daring Do could successfully perform a lot of her feats with a broken wing, so in his mind he was set up for greatness cause he lost two  
-Rainbow was very eager to return to the Wonderbolts, a little too eager in Quibble’s opinion  
-Quibble Pants was often times left alone to take care of little Arrowhead, and Rainbow would in turn spend less and less time at home, focussing almost entirely on her career  
-They never really had a confrontation about it until much later when Quibble found out not from his wife but doctors when they informed him that she shouldn’t be flying so brashly in her condition-The two would go on to have a very large argument, mainly one-sided on Quib’s end about Rainbow’s divided loyalties and Rainbow being a little in denial about her lack of interest in being in a domestic home environment  
-Eventually I think it’d get to the point of Quibble pointing out how her time away is interfering with Arrowhead’s relationship with his mother and also apparently this new foal she hadn’t really told anyone about  
-Rainbow would probably storm off and have a lot of time to herself to think about what she wanted to do for her life  
-In the midst of her pandering she’d feel a little stir in her belly and she’d have made up her mind at that point  
-Rainbow Dash ends up resigning from the Wonderbolts to be with her family, a decision Spitfire never really could understand  
-She ends up getting a whole new perspective when it came to expecting their second foal, rather anticipating the foal instead of dreading it  
-Arrow was very excited to have a little brother, something he was dead-set on knowing, no way he was having a sister  
-Dash ended up having her second foal significantly earlier than had been the case with Arrowhead, most likely due to how late in the game she desisted in her flying practices with this pregnancy and having to induce labor from the pain she was experiencing  
-After their second son was born he had to be put in an incubator for having come so prematurely  
-Rainbow would stare contently at her little colt on a bed next to him for long periods of time; the two recovering together  
-She ended naming him Wayfinder for the decision he helped her make not that long ago, Quibble gladly agreed
 
Some general other facts:  
-Rainbow Dash adopted the nickname Wayf for Wayfinder as a joke for how small he was as a foal, she’s the only one to call him that  
-Arrowhead and Wayfinder are super close brothers, there’s never been any bad blood between them  
-The two absolutely grew up on Daring Do books  
Rainbow eventually changes her hairstyle and needs reading glasses and Quib always remarks on how much of an egghead she resembles  
-Quibble Pants takes up publishing and Rainbow becomes a pony equivalent of an English teacher in Ponyville  
-At some point or another Daring Do contacts Rainbow Dash about giving up writing stories and taking on adventuring full-time, though in her letter she calls it retirement, she then suggests she takes up continuing the novels in her place, using the adventures Rainbow herself had been on in the past, to which with the insistence of Quibble, Rainbow accepts the alias, A.K. Yearling  
-She now attends conventions in her place and other the same pathetic disguise, which Quib always gets a good chuckle out of  
-Arrowhead when he was very young knew of his mother being a Wonderbolt and, in the same fashion as one would cheer on a loved one at a sporting event, time and time again roots for his mother at her quieter book signings
